Rev. Conrad Bennette Tillard Sr. currently serves as the Interim Senior Minister of the 120 and twenty year old Flatbush -Tompkins Congregational Church in Brooklyn, New York. Rev. Tillard is the immediate past Senior Minister, of the Nazarene Congregational Church a 140-year-old United Church of Christ Congregation (UCC) in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn where he served from 2006 to 2016. Prior to that, he served as the Interim Senior Minister of the 185-year-old Eliot Congregational Church, UCC.
Rev. Tillard is a Baptist and Congregational minister, licensed and ordained at the historic Abyssinian Baptist Church of the City of New York. He is affiliated with the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc., The American Baptist Churches USA and has held dual standing with the Metropolitan Association of the United Church of Christ, New York Conference.
Rev. Tillard is always very active in his community, serving on boards and in organizations in the parishes that he has served. He preaches frequently in some of the leading church pulpits throughout the New York metropolitan area and the nation. He is also an Adjunct Professor at The City College of New York, in the Black Studies Department. He also host a radio program, Conversations with Conrad on WHCR 90.3 FM in New York City. He is also completing his memoir which chronicles his extraordinary journey to the Gospel ministry.
Selected in 2015 to receive the Humanitarian Community Leadership Award, The Culvert News Community Awards and in 2009 as "Pastor of the Year" in Brooklyn, New York, by Church Women United and in 2005 and 2006 by Beliefnet.com as one of “The Most Influential Spiritual Black Leaders,” in the United States, the Reverend Conrad B. Tillard is an important ecclesiastical voice growing in America. He has been a student activist, minister and community activist for thirty years.
Rev. Tillard has had an ecumenical and interfaith journey. He has also served a historic congregation in Harlem where he resides; and he is the recipient of many awards and citations, he has explored the holy land. He is a jazz lover, and a proud father Amir, a Los Angeles based artist, Najmah, a Howard University Graduate, Conrad Jr, a Fisk University graduate. and Barack, his “assistant pastor” is a 5th grader.

We have choirs for ages 3 to 103.! Our Chancel adult choir blesses us each Sunday during our 10:45 service. A remarkable set of voices you must come and experience.
We also have our youth choir who also sings multiple times throughout the year.
Our Sunday Schools meets at 9:30 for the Adults and 9:45 for children each Sunday morning.
Ages 4 to 104 are welcome!
Our mission is “to provide spiritual support and to promote Christian encouragement to all men; to defend and to uphold the laws of the church; to rise at all times to the needs of this church and its community; and to fellowship one with another, in Christ, in the true spirit of brotherhood.”

In addition to selected social activities, the Men's Christian Fellowship hosts the Annual Mother's Day Brunch and organizes the Annual Men's Retreat which is held in the Fall of every year.
The Women's Ministry of Flatbush-Tompkins is reflected in almost every aspect of the life of the church. The women’s presence is especially felt in Bible study, Intercessory prayer, fundraising, and membership in all committees.
Our high school students meet every Friday night from 7pm-9pm.
We welcome youth whether they attend the church or not and aim to provide a positive, spiritually grounded Christian experience for all who attend. Women's Ministries

The Benevolence Committee of Flatbush-Tompkins was formed to devise means of promoting the benevolent work of the church. It determines the causes to be aided and apportions such monies as are designated for benevolent purposes.
The following comes under the Auspices of the committee.
PARISH RELIEF- FUNDS SET ASIDE TO ASSIST MEMBERS IN AN EMERGENCY
Each month we highlight a Charity, and provide a financial donation to assist their cause.
SCHOLARSHIP FUND: We provide financial Scholarships to our High School graduates as well as students continuing college.
