Choir

We have choirs for ages 3 to 103.! Our Chancel adult choir blesses us each Sunday during our 10:45 service. A remarkable set of voices you must come and experience. 

We also have  our youth choir who also sings multiple times throughout the year. 

Men's Christian Fellowship

Our mission is “to provide spiritual support and to promote Christian encouragement to all men; to defend and to uphold the laws of the church; to rise at all times to the needs of this church and its community; and to fellowship one with another, in Christ, in the true spirit of brotherhood.” 

In addition to selected social activities, the Men's Christian Fellowship hosts the Annual Mother's Day Brunch and organizes the Annual Men's Retreat which is held in the Fall of every year.

Our Sunday Schools meets at 9:30 for the Adults and 9:45 for  children each  Sunday morning. 

Ages 4  to 104 are welcome!

Vacation Bible School

During the summer we hold a two week long bible school for children aged 3-12 where we share in the word of God in a way that is geared towards the young people. And you just have to pay a registration fee

Women's Ministries

The Women's Ministry of Flatbush-Tompkins is reflected in almost every aspect of the life of the church. The women’s presence is especially felt in Bible study, Intercessory prayer, fundraising, and membership in all committees.

Youth Group

 

Our high school students meet every Friday night from 7pm-9pm. 

We welcome youth whether they attend the church or not and aim to provide a positive, spiritually grounded Christian experience for all who attend. 

Community Outreach

Food Pantry

Open every fourth Saturday from 10am to 12pm 

Alcoholics Anonymous/AL-Anon

Meets on Tuesday and Wedneday from 7pm-9pm

Narcotics Anonymous

Meets on weekdays 10am and 12pm

BENEVOLENCE AT FTCC

The Benevolence Committee of Flatbush Tompkins was formed to devise means of promoting the benevolent work of the church. It determines the causes to be aided and apportions such monies as are designated for benevolent purposes. 

The following comes under the Auspices of the committee. 

PARISH RELIEF- FUNDS SET ASIDE TO ASSIST  MEMBERS IN AN EMERGENCY


Each month we highlight a Charity, and provide a financial donation to assist their cause. 

MAY'S CHARITY: 

TechFIN- SOURCES USED BUT WORKING COMPUTERS, IN BULK, FROM CORPORATIONS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE DISPOSE OF THESE MACHINES. THEY  ARE REVITALIZED AND DISTRIBUTED TO LOW INCOME HOUSEHOLDS THAT DO NOT CURRENTLY OWN A COMPUTER, DUE TO COST. TechFIN HAS DONATED 650 MACHINES IN THE LAST 28 MONTHS  AND IS COMMITTED TO DELIVEREING ANOTHER 100 BY YEAR'S END.


SCHOLARSHIP FUND: We provide financial Scholarships to our High School graduates as well as students continuing college.

UPCOMING EVENTS: SCHOLARSHIP DAY IS JUNE 4TH DURING SERVICE AT 9AM 

 We will be having  an Education Panel Discussion:- Junior High School and High School students are welcome to come and participate. You will hear from members who are professionals in the field of education as well as recent college graduates. 

Eligible Students for Scholarship- Deadline to submit your application is Sunday May 19TH.. You may collect your application from any member of the committee or download it here.
