24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,
25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
Grace and Peace To You:
Welcome to the website of Flatbush Tompkins Congregational Church. We strive to be a faithful church doing the work of the Lord, in the Kings County! We are a diverse 120 year old institution with a fascinating history, that is largely reflection of the ever shifting and complex identity of Brooklyn itself, and in particular the Ditmas Park/Flatbush section where we are located. At Flatbush Tompkins, we love the Lord and we are growing to love all of the Lord’s people as well.
Everyone is welcome at FTCC. We love the Bible, The great traditions of the church such as the Hymns and Anthems, the Negro Spirituals and Gospel music. We are also ever evolving and embracing new traditions that glorify our Lord in fresh ways. We are also keenly aware of social gospel and the need to establish the realm of God, on earth as it is in heaven.
I would encourage you to come to FTCC to meet us, worship with us and participate in the life of our church. Though we are a close knit church, with numerous long time members with many years of service, we are a dynamic church always open to meeting new seekers and receiving new members.
From young people, and families just starting out on life’s journey to those of middle age and seniors, we have ministries that seek to meet you where you are, ministering to your concerns and needs. We desire to support you in your walk with Christ, and finding peace and contentment in life.
Please, why not come make plans to visit FTCC
